These three stones mark the graves of five infants, all children of V. T. and L. J. Stonecypher.

Gone but not forgotten
Martha Ledford was the daughter of David and Sarah Matilda (Ballew) Carpenter and the wife of James Wesley Ledford. She was buried in the Coweeta Baptist Church Cemetery, Macon Co., NC, near her parents and husband.
One of our favorite historical sites in Upstate South Carolina is the Old Stone Church and cemetery in Pendleton, SC, located near Clemson University. The following two markers, those of Richard and Sarah Lewis, are located in the older section of this large cemetery.
Kittie McConnell Berrong and her unnamed infant were buried in Osborn Cemetery, Towns County, Georgia. Osborn Cemetery is attached to McConnell Memorial Baptist Church in Hiawassee, but physically located away from the church.
This marker for the burial places of T. W. and Mattie Gibson is found in Osborn Cemetery, Towns County, Georgia. The cemetery is attached to McConnell Memorial Baptist Church in Hiawassee, but physically located away from the church.
